BABIES ARE IN

About the Project

Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation initiated a new project on  increasing the birthrate in Serbia: Babies are IN in Vladicin Han Municipality. The project goal is to fight the so-called "white plague trend" and to stop the tendency of decreasing the birthrate in Serbia. It is agreed that the project focus during the first project phase will be on one municipality in South Serbia.
 
Motivating the married couples with one or two children to extend their families with one more child and by that to contribute to the incensement of number of children is the general idea of this project. In addition, a decrease in the decade-lasting problem with the birthrate in Serbia is expected.  
 
A meeting was conducted on November 18th, 2013 in Vladicin Han with the municipal representatives, responsible persons from the Center for Social Labor as well as Medical Centre. The criteria for selecting the most appropriate families were formatted and on the next day, on November 19th, 2013 the MEMO of Cooperation was signed with the Municipality of Vladicin Han.
