Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation started Divac Scholarship Program last year, and have supported 39 secondary school students with refugee background from Croatia. That was the main focus of our donors that support the program. This year we supported 100 students within the same program and kids coming from marginalized and socially disadvantage environment egardless of origin.
The right to a scholarship is given to students who enroll in the first, second, third and fourth grade of secondary schools inestablished and funded by the Republic of Serbia, an autonomous province or a local self-government. Scholarship is available to students who achieved excellent study results (4,5 to 5,00 points) and extra curriculum activities (scientific competitions, sport results, etc.) while one of their parent/guardian had refugee status in Republic of Serbia and is coming from Republic of Croatia from the municipalities Benkovac, Vojnić, Vrginmost, Glina, Gračac, Dvor, Donji Lapac, Drniš, Knin, Korenica, Kostajnica, Krnjak, Obrovac, Petrinja, Plaški, Slunj, Zadar, Caprag, Grubišno Polje, Daruvar, Okučani, Pakrac, Slatina, Beli Manastir, Vukovar, Dalj, Mirkovci, Tenja.
Program aims to provide support especially to students coming from marginalized and socially disadvantage environment with a main goal to provide the access to education of the disadvantaged children and decrease success gaps between these children and their more advantaged peers.

The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation also provided laptops for the secondary school students who were chosen from the scholarships application list 2017/2018 and 36 students got the computer. This time, one of the criteria was the socioeconomic status of student and number of children in the family.
Thanks to the donors, during the August within the Divac Scholarship Program, Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation supported 43 excellent students, coming from marginalized and socially disadvantage environment egardless of origin. having in mind the large number of children who need this kind of support, we invite all interested people to join and donate for Divac Scholarship Program in order to support as many families and children as possible. Aditionally, we supported five more students with help problems thanks to our donor Anka Erne.
