Agricultural Funds Manager

The preferred professional characteristics of the potential candidate are the following:

 

 

Qualifications:

•          University Degree in Agriculture, Economy, Finance or relevant area or university degree

•          At least 5 years of relevant project experience

•          Experience and knowledge in agricultural business, as well as entrepreneurship.

•          Knowledge of national government strategies and local self-government action plans for business incentives and local business development plans

•          Experience in developing relationships and working with local self-governments, national ministries, and other institutions.

 

Duties:

•          Managing projects of the Divac Agricultural Funds focused on development of agriculture, social entrepreneurship and small business

•          Responsible for project implementation and coordination

•          Responsible for reporting to donors

•          Maintaining communication with farmers and beneficiaries

•          Frequent traveling to various locations across the country 

•          Design of project documents and development of new project ideas and proposals

•          All other duties as requested by supervisors.

Skills:

•          Fluency in English

•          Active driver - valid driving license

•          Understanding of budgetary processes and financial controls.

•          Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

•          Good team player but can easily handle any job individually.

•          Ability to deal sensitively with different parties on difficult areas.
